Maia Dorsett, MD, PhD (@maiadorsett) is an EM and EMS Physician at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She completed her EMS Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Her primary interests are EMS Education and Quality Improvement initiatives aimed at encouraging patient-centered care, both outside and inside the hospital. She loves simulation, #FOAMed, urban chicken farming and being the mother of 3 boys.
James Li MD (@JamesLi_17) is an EM/EMS physician at Washington University in St. Louis. He completed residency and fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. He is passionate about innovation in education, curriculum development, and prehospital medicine. He is an active EMS Medical Director and enjoys teaching medical students and resident physicians about EMS Medicine. When not working, he enjoys exploring local coffee shops, spending time outdoors, and napping on the couch.
Brandon Morshedi, MD, DPT, NREMT (@bbmorshedi) , is an Associate Professor of EM and EMS faculty at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, working clinically at Parkland Hospital. He completed EM residency and EMS fellowship both at UT-Southwestern, and currently serves as Deputy Medical Director for Dallas Fire-Rescue and 11 other surrounding suburbs, as well as the Assistant Medical Director for Dallas Police Department and a field SWAT physician on the Dallas PD SWAT team. Before that, he was a medic for 12 years and a physical therapist for 8 years. In his free time, he enjoys different methods of trying to burn down his kitchen and tries his best to keep his 4 very active children out of the ER.
Al Lulla MD, MS (@al_lulla) is EM and EMS faculty at UT Health McGovern Medical School. His interests include prehospital research, critical care, becoming a better educator, and performance under stress in the resuscitation of critically ill patients. Outside of work, he enjoys photography, beardscaping, heavy metal, and acquiring the skills to be an expert jedi grillmaster. He is the editor and author of the Article Bites series.
